Manuel Antonio National Park
Arenal
Begin your 8-day discovery of Costa Rica’s lush tropical jungles and incredible local wildlife by exploring the rainforest canopy surrounding the grand Arenal Volcano. Take in the incredible views from inside your gondola as you rise to the highest point of Arenal Volcano National Park, where you’ll begin your adventurous descent. Race down roughly 3 km / 2 mi of zipline cables through canyons within the rainforest, marvelling at the views of Lake Arenal below and Arenal Volcano above. Continue your adventure by winding through the rapids along the Balsa River and floating along Lake Arenal, searching for local wildlife across the forested shores and inlets. Continue across the lake to the town of El Castillo, a welcoming community with family businesses sharing traditional snacks and local drinks, including Café chorreador, agua dulce, and fresh juice.

Fly south to Manuel Antonio National Park along Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. Accompany a naturalist guide through the lush prehistoric rainforest boasting 184 species of birds, three-quarters of Costa Rican monkey species, multiple species of sloths, and incredible reptiles, orchids, and butterflies. Explore the national park further at your own pace, hiking its web of trails, relaxing on the several world-class beaches along the coast, or the underwater wonders off the shores into the depths of the Pacific Ocean.
