NP Krka full day excursion from Zadar

Private Paklenica hiking tour

This route follows the main path of the park in the Velika Paklenica canyon. After a zig zag warm-up of about 30 minutes, we will arrive at a first water point where we can refill our bottles and cool off. From there, the shaded almost flat trail widens and climbs steadily and gently for about an hour to a second water point where we can rest. Then a 30-minute climb will take us to the Paklenica mountain hut A final five-minute climb and we will be at the Ramica Dvori lodge from where we will enjoy the beautiful panorama, the rocky peaks and surrounding forests. The Doges’ Palace was the seat of the main government departments, the residence of the Doge, from where the Venetian Republic was ruled. Lavish frescoes, graceful staircases and gilded stuccowork reveal the glory and opulence of this period.
