About the 2025 Indy 500

The Indy 500 is the most prestigious event on the IndyCar circuit, held annually at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This iconic race plays out over 500 miles (200 laps) and is traditionally held over Memorial Day Weekend. The next Indy 500 is scheduled for May 25, 2025 and will be the 109th running of this thrilling event. This beloved auto race showcases the top level of American Championship IndyCar racing. It is considered part of the Triple Crown of Motorsport, one of the three most prestigious motorsport events in the world (the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Monaco Grand Prix are the other two).

Indianapolis Indianapolis Indianapolis is the largest city in Indiana and the commercial, transportation, and industrial center for a large area.
